Hurry . . . put the software on your stations!
Sorry if I bore some of you, but I'll say it again! Putting the Promethean software on the stations is almost as good has having the Promethean board! By installing the software on the stations, the kids get to learn how to use the tools. I have even taught my morning group how to get images (fraction pieces) from the resource library to create equivalent fractions. I put my flipcharts on my "flash-drive" and load them on the stations. I have also saved my flipcharts to the "S" drive and loaded them that way. Whichever way you choose, this is a valuable way to put the technology in the hands of the children. TRY IT! (ALSO, go see Judy Thompson and see what her kids have done using the software on the stations - way to go, Judy!)
