Welcome back to school! All e-math teachers had a brief meeting on August 29. We will get to work after the core-team returns from the Fall Train-the-Trainer session on September 11th.
Here are the mintues:

Roles
Winona took a few minutes to explain the roles of the core team members for past years and this year. This the roles are:
Math Coach – A. Sturdivant
Off-site Math Coach – J. Giddens
Tech Coach – H. Boykin
Core Team Members – W. Woods (third grade)
T. Mills (fourth grade)

e-Portfolio
We created an e-Math Portfolio Folder on desktops
Inside the folder, we created these sub-folders:
e-Math pictures
scanned items
correspondence (emails, meeting minutes, etc.)
documents

GAETC conference in Atlanta in November!
We will meet at a later date to sign-up for the conference. There is a limited amount of money for professional development. If you choose to go, you MUST attend the workshops that you register for – it would be unprofessional not to do so.
Keep in mind that the National Technology Education Conference is in Atlanta this summer!

Units
Fourth grade teachers: As you teach your units and make modifications, please document the modifications that you made in a Word document and save the document in your electronic portfolio

More Units
There is a specific format for uploading to the portal – we will need to keep this in mind

USE UNITED STREAMING!!!!
Go to unitedstreaming.com, use our school's passcode, and create your own account
United Streaming contains unlimited “safe” resources on unlimited topics!!!
It also allows you to create quizzes that kids take on-line and it will send you the results (see Jeff for more info)
