Determining Outcomes

One of the things that we have to do today is determine the criteria that will let us know if the students have mastered the standards that are in our units. To do this we will look at Stage 2 of our units, evaluate, and discuss this area. We will also create a rubric to use as we judge the understandings the children show throughout our unit. We need to know what evidence we are looking for before we begin planning the learning activities that will produce this evidence.
This is crazy but we will use a rubric to assess our unit and the rubric we're creating.

We are also going to start adding our units to the GSO Unit Builder and developing stage 3 of our units. Below are listed pages in your UbD workbook that may be helpful as you plan Stage 3.

Graphs

I have placed a graph flipchart on the S drive. The flipchart can be used as an instructional tool or can be used by students at stations as a review in which they can access web links at the end of the flipchart.
